Vision Crafters is proud to offer over 45 years of experience in providing exceptional optical services including unparalleled craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. Formerly of Optica at South Coast Plaza and offices of other well-respected optometrists, Felix's skills include:

• Assembling air-mount/3-piece eyewear
• Customized clip-on lenses (including polarized sunglasses)
• Shaping prescription wrap-around glasses
• Mounting prescription lenses in scuba/safety glasses
• Custom frame coloring
• In-house gold soldering of frames
• Properly accommodating nearly blind individuals with extremely high-prescription lenses

Vision Crafters, Inc. was initially founded in San Clemente, California December of 1989, and has since become our headquarters. We opened our second location in Lake Forest, California in 1997, but due to recent instability of the shopping center there, we had to make the decision to concentrate our business in one store. Starting in March 2003, we will be operating solely from the San Clemente location.

Owner, Felix Taborda is an eyewear specialist in Southern California and one of few worldwide specialists in mounting of rimless glasses. This capability requires very specialized training, use of intricate and costly equipment and, of course, many years of experience.

Our philosophy at Vision Crafters is to offer excellent service at a fair price. We price ourselves on being a one-stop source for all of our customer's optical needs.
